It was those hot humid months of the year when everyone is just waiting for a good rain in the country. On June 2015, Ananda hi Ananda global advisory chairman Shri Ajay singh ji gave me his phone and said my close friend or you can call him my elder brother, wants to speak with you. I took his phone and on the other end a gentle voice said Pranam Vivek ji ! Its a first time i was hearing this voice but within seconds i knew i am talking to someone with whom i would have a deep relationship. I reciprocated the greetings, exchanged news and had chat for few minutes. The person with whom i was speaking it was none other than Shri Ramnath Kovind ji, who will be on all accounts the future president of India.
It was a beginning of new and quite a warm relationship, within couple of months Shri Ramnath Kovind ji was nominated as the governor of Bihar state of India. Soon after being informed Mr Ajay singh went to Delhi, and within few hours of reaching,my mobile rang again. I congratulated Shri Ramnath Kovind ji on his new appointment. I was invited to swearing in ceremony, i generally avoid going to these program but on the insistence of Mr Ajay Singh and Kovind ji, i went to Bihar. It was a day before of swearing in ceremony on month of August when Shri Ramnath Kovind ji and i met in Rajbhavan Bihar, discussed about many things, i found in him a soul which had a wide relationship with spirituality and other aspects of life. Even in this busy time of taking charge of Governor of Bihar, he would find time to discuss with me the philosophy. I had known many individuals from political background, but knowing Shri Ramnath Kovind ji was something i cherish. We can sit for long many hours and just discuss aspects of life, meditation, books. Since that time i would often receive call from Bihar Rajbhavan, a trembling voice would often try to confirm with me if i am really Vivek ji? But soon after confirmation they would hand over the call to their "Mahamahim" from where a gentle voice would say Pranam Vivek ji ! We would speak about philosophy, common pleasantries etc, sometime it was about what is going in the world, we would speak about the affairs of life. I found in him a soul of a man who has not lost the reach of humanity in his being. But this is not the end i would often wonder how does Shri Ramnath Kovind finds time to call and discuss the conformity of philosophy in such a busy schedule.
